I would be curious to know why, considering the climate and the water situation in our valley, why in the world are we supporting all that agriculture? Wheat can be grown far more efficiently and cheaply elsewhere, as can cotton, and as can some of the other things we are using water on. Isn't it about time to phase out such extravagance?
