It comes down to the details.... if the girl had a blunt force impact from the jump and no skin damage, then ice would be appropriate, not lotion. I've never would think to put lotion on a blunt force injury. If the girl got scraped and a rash from the jump, then maybe the lotion would be appropriate. I hope this was discussed at the trial. Truth is in the details.
