I have just been reading up on events of Goldsmith, and I just want to say I grew up there and it was the best years of my whole loif really. We moved there in 1952. My Dad was the lease foreman for Felmont oil . We lived on the lease . I attended Goldsmith Elem. Then was Bused to Odessa for Jr. and High school. I spent many a fun night twirling around the Buck Horn . ,in all my starched petty coats and poodle skirt at 7 and 8 years old. Attended first Baptist Church and Fell in Love for the first time with Terry Wayne Wilder. OH those were the days, Would give the world to go back there. And have a coke at Turnbaughs Corner. Please reminese with me.
