The public sometimes views "road rage" as humorous, but it is anything but that. It can drastically affect people on both sides of the "argument." And it can have long-lasting affects on many people around those directly involved. We are coming up on the 20th anniversary of one of the earliest-designated incidents of road rage involving a church deacon and an EMT employee. It was covered by the national news media, including "48 Hours," at the time. And the fallout from the incident is still going on today. An effective book "Deacon's Crossbow," paints a tension-filled portrait from the viewpoint of the news reporters, friends of one of the victims, and that victim himself.
