Back in the day I'd played football with a team called 'the young pros' and the 7th PCT. Roadrunners on 161 st. Bronx. Right across the street from Yankee Stadium.
The whole city has now been cleaned up from back in the day when you had to watch what area you walked into.. making sure you had on the right colors...or turned your colors around..

I lived in in Washington Hgts for 3 years. Their football teams , high school, in all of NYC were horrible. Football is a Southern Sport. My high school could beat any NYC-H.S. in 2012 by 50 points. NYC only has as a college team, Fordham and Columbia. Alabama here in the South would beat both together by 95 points today. Too many effiminate males in NYC who want to tap dance or do a B'way play. Even the 'so-called' toughest ghetto in NYC could not beat our high school in football if we gave them 35 points.
