Hope it was the gun man that was shot and not one of the school board.

If only someone were to go on a shooting craze in Bonifay, we might get to clean out the trash in our school board without having to deal with uneventful elections.

just thought I'd mention:
==========>>>> when I get to comment here on good olde topix I try to be 'stimulating' and try not to be insulting or expell anal fluctuance. ==========>>>> others sometimes, heck, often, think that they are involved in a 'I must win' situations and try to squeeze testicles. ==========>>>> hence, suddenly feel compelllled to simply 'get lost' so must say 'Me Lost" |

i believe the happy parent is from south florida and heard the real story down there. the man held the bay co. schoolboard hostage and then shot himself. such tragedy and he probably had it all planned. some ppl like to die as martyrs. very sad and disturbing. should be a wake up call to all other counties in florida and the new gov. elect and other republicans.

I always thought it was dumb to have such an elaborate camera system in these meetings. I guess this is one time (and prob. the last ) where it was useful.

Are you crazy? Hey, I agree that education in this country has gone to the dogs, but somehow I DON'T think THIS is the answer. You have an elected board right? Well you need also to have a procedure to remove said individual(s) if they prove to be a bad thing. And you need parents to know what's going on and help on a panel to determine whether or not a person should be removed. For example, if a teacher has bad teaching methods, say of humiliation, or a hands off on discipline, that teacher should be removed. But say having a teacher removed for example simply because they happen to be a Christian, and a parent is an atheist; that's frivolous and capricious. WHY did this guy do this? Was it simply a case of excessive stress; or did he raise red flags to the board and they wouldn't listen and he became desparate? |
