Thanks for those links of examples. I knew that IL got a D+ because of rampant corruption in their local govt and law enforcement bodies, so it comes as no surprise to me that IN. got an F in more than one thing to do with transparency and openness.<quoted text>Yeppers. They do vets really dirty most of the time. Terre Hautes corruption and local thugs have gotten so bad since I first moved here that you almost have to make a conscious imaginative effort to not see it. But it's all over this state for sure.
Indiana got an F here http://www.publicintegrity.org/2013/12/04/137... and when asked bout it they made up excuses like "If the judges were corrupt then we are sure they would tell us."
The state also got an F here too http://www.idsnews.com/news/story.aspx...
There are many more categories where this state failed miserably if you take the time to search. Those were just the first hits from google.
While I don't think Indiana is a very good honest state as a whole, I still think that the city of Terre Haute is at the bottom of the toilet when it comes to political, school board, court and police corruption. There are too many examples of it and anyone who isn't seeing the obvious must choose not to. There is no other explanation. Those screaming that Terre Haute is some kind of honest freedom utopia are out of their minds. Well back to search for houses to rent in other states. Take care of yourselves people your selected leaders could give a crap less about you all.
