I was on this bus, the lady was speeding and my bus driver did a california stop at the stop sign, he didnt look to see if anyone was coming, and the lady swirved into the slow lane, but didnt slow down. We had to go across the street afterwards. There were 3-4 Nurses that were luckily in the area, and 3 army men. The army men seen that the car was starting to smoke, so they got their fire extinguisher. Sorry if my spelling is off, but the lady driving died, my friend got hurt from his head breaking the window on the bus, and the kid in her car is internally bleeding. i was sitting in the very back of the bus, and i knew that the person in the 80's mustand, 5.0, was going to hit us, but i was speechless and couldnt say anything, even though i tried to. i scooted away from the side she was going to hit, and sort of braced myself. The ladies husband showed up, and got into a fight with a few firemen. I feel really bad for the guy, and I dont think that he should be pressed with charges, but i do think that the bus driver should be fired.

Whether she was speeding or not, your bus driver pulled out in front of her, and by your own words, failed to completely stop at the stop sign, and failed to look for any oncoming cars.
He blindly headed across the highway, killing that lady, injuring her child, and putting every child on that bus in danger.
The bus driver should be fired!
I live in Golden Valley, and I still see buses flying past my house on a dirt road, and flying past me on the highway while I'm doing 70 mph. It is unacceptable and something should be done about these drivers.

Glad to hear that you and everyone on the bus came out for the most part unharmed. Did you tell investigators that he did a rolling stop and did not look for oncoming cars?
