Any teacher with a CCW permit should be able to carry at the school.
To bad society has gotten to this level.

Comments like "School Police" is what started this new gun control debate. Hate to inform you but a few school security guards end up being child molesters. Arrests worldwide of police too, involved in child molestation. You wanna put someone that volunteers for school duty in there with a gun? What normal police officer wants to stand around all day in a normally non-active position watching kids?
This position is just like school teachers, especially Gym teachers, or Sunday school teachers, well any occupation that molestors use to get close to kids. To be effective against shootings there would need to be an officer in every room, because all the rooms are spread out so far. If teachers are armed, they would need training almost equal to special ops. Guns go off if not treated perfectly. Extreme situation leads to missing target and hitting others. Teachers can flip out too. Then there is the kid that knows the teacher has a gun, she is weak, then hit's the teach over back of head with some blunt instrument, ah the kid has a gun, just because it was there, and those bullies are gonna pay!

Hope you weren't, but if you grew up in a nation with armed adults in the schools, then this suggestion would make sense, because you would grow up obeying all the orders, right or wrong that anyone in a uniform tells you. That's not a free society. Kinda like what Hitler did.

Growing up my schools were open campus.
We never even thought about weird people when i went to school.Things do change,my daughter is small for her age and both boys and girls like to punch her or knock her down.I think the boys are pathetic when they are several gardes ahead and gut punch little girls. And no kids help her.I always told bullys to get lost.
If you dont do something nowadays your just
going to have a gun free killing zone for people who are mentally sick or just plain evil.
Im considering home schooling my kids.
The subjects taught at school are bad.My kids get PE twice a week.No music classes. The teachers seem dumbed down as well.
Heck Bob you dont trust your kids with people your kids are with every day?I see your point but its sad.My kids school has an armed off duty cop or a retired one there all the time. They seem to be good people.
