Hi, I was a convert, not endowed, resigned from the LDS church and reattending. Does anyone know whether I would have to get re-baptized or can I be reinstated?

Don't quote me on this, but I believe that as long as you have not been ex-communicated you do not have to be baptized again. Welcome back!:)

Just wait until you die, they'll baptize you then without hesitation.

When it comes to eternal life, what's waiting a few years for baptism anyway? And think of it, you can live it up here in the secular world, end up in hell, and when the mormons re-baptize you, you can do one of those NFL-style taunts at all the evildoers at the diabolical poker table while your soul ascends to the Joseph Smith Eternal Resort Hotel & Casino.

If you had your name removed from the records of the church or were ex-communicated you would need to be baptized. If you have drifed away listen to your heart. Listen to our Father in Heaven, because there will allway be people to critize.

Juandez was correct, if you had your records removed or you were excommunicated, then you would need to be rebaptized. I would find out which ward you are in, and set up an appointment with the Bishop. Perhaps not easy at first, but I can say from experience it makes it much easier on your way back. Go to the following Link and put in your information. It most likely will be the first selection. If you click on it, it will also tell you the Bishop of the ward and his phone number. I would give him a call, verify with him if your in his ward, and ask to meet with him.

I agree with Eric, Gabe, and Sabrina. I am in the process of working towards being rebaptized after being excommunicated a number of years ago, and after searching many other religions, I know that what they have said is true. Please do not hesitate to go to your Bishop and discuss this with him. Goodluck in your return. I admire you.

Too bad. There is no archeological evidence for all the cities that supposedly existed in America. The Book of Mormon has been revised a bazillion times. Jesus and Satan were not brothers. God was not like us at one time.

If you want your party to be wild invite a mormon. If you want it to be boring; invite two.

Daily Horoscope for December 17

Aries

Life has a lot to offer today, especially if you're mixing with people on the same wavelength as you. With sensual Venus dancing with passionate Mars, a party or festive gathering is just the thing for the Ram. You might even go home with a certain phone number tucked safely in your pocket.
