Let's see how this will progress.

1) we need more tax dollars for our special interest programs.
2) Then we need to raise taxes on those employed.
3) See #1
4) See #2.

Question To Mr. Rybak from DFL Moderator Pat Kessler: Honorable Mr. Mayor, who gives you that metro-sexual haircut?

Answerfrom Mayor Rybak: Well, we know how most of the decent people Minnesota are struggling. But a lot of hard working, taxpaying, citizens of Minnesota know that they could do more. Therefore, I propose a tax on barbers and hairstylists to give all of the poor people in Minnesota the opportunity to get a free haircut, free hair color, or free hair highlights. My program will be paid for with this new "hair" tax. Now, are there any more taxes we can raise, or ummmm, I mean are there any other questions?

Lock-up all the DFL candidates in one room; let them come up with a unified DFL platform of principles; and, let them all decide the [ONLY] two Democratic candidates who have a snowball's chance in Hades in getting elected. The Republicans should do likewise.

In the end hold a primary[in May, 2010] for one candidate each and let the voters decide and political process unfold. Unless the Independent Party has a viable candidate[also, only one] to put up for election then save the taxpayers/voters money and support the candidates from the DFL or Republicans who best support your political interests.

This maybe or seem an overly simplified way of doing elections but it is a lot easier than IRV or drawn out recounts. The end result for all this simplified electoral process is less political posturing; less political electoral malarkey; and, a back to basics approach that reflects the electorate. Wouldn't it be nice to have an old fashion, straight-forward, honorable Constitutional American election again? I can't wait!

Daily Horoscope for December 11

Aries

A certain person is being very feisty and fiery today. You may also suspect that they're looking for an argument and will provoke you until you rise to the bait. Trigger points include shared finances, sex and any topic that is currently supposed to be off-limits. You'll probably discover that you want to clear the air, but don't get carried away.
