Please explain this post. Without reading every single comment, it sounds as though you're insinuating that the molestation of pre-school children was (sic) consensual.. or am I just playing into the musings of a pathetic ignorant troll?
Yeah, god forbid you have to read something before you weigh in on it. Here comes the Yum Yum Train to spoon feed you!! CHOO CHOOOOO

No! You were being smug; "My kids never got raped because I could afford a fancy daycare at $1200 per month (twenty years ago? Really, now that WAS Fancy) where there were cameras and two staff and my kids didn't get raped cuz I could AFFORD to have my kids and give them the best, those other people, those low lifes, well let them get what they pay for!" SMUG ****!!!!
TROLL. Unable to read a post. The "20 years ago" statement was in response to a previous poster who had trouble "believing" that daycare cost so much. The remaining point, as clarified ad nauseum is that regardless of socioeconomic status, it is incumbent upon a parent to seek out a safe and nurturing environment for their children in their care. This particular "Bubba's daycare and tackle shop" doesn't seem to fit the bill. Additionally, I readily, and without compunction, support the social programs that allow the lesser privileged, and perhaps occasionally even the lazy among us, to benefit from the same levels of security for our children. Further idiocy will not be acknowledged.

Just FYI Fancy, when you are quoting someone and they have a misspelling and you feel compelled to put "(sic)" in, the entire quotation should be surrounded by quotation marks and you continue the misspelling, that way the reader knows that the original writer made the error, not you, and thus, the reader knows that not only do you know Fancy words like (sic) even though in this case you misused it, but that you are further pointing out that the original writer is stupid, and therefore SMUG!:)

So the kids of lazy parents should, and I quote, "perhaps occasionally... benefit from the same levels of security for our children." SMUG!

OK, so lets continue with your arguement, and I'll play the Devils' advocate. You pay more for daycare than for your home. So you must live in a kinda sorta low income neighborhood. Have you been to the county auditors site and looked for sex offenders that live near you? Because you do realize they live in those kinda sorta low income neighborhood MORE FREQUENTLY, not always, but there is a higher per capita (cuz when they get out of prison they can't really afford Dublin, right?). Maybe YOU are the POS you describe if your child gets raped by a reporting sex offender/ neighbor for not earning enough money to keep your kids safe...afterall, you really couldn't afford to have kids if you live in a neighborhood where you pay more for daycare than your freaking house, right?
There are probably sex offenders within a mile radius everywhere in central Ohio, and I do get the email and snail mail notifications every time one moves in near me. No escaping it. I actually live in a fairly decent neighborhood - I just didn't buy a huge-ass McMansion that my family really doesn't need, so my mortgage is under $1,000 while I'm paying close to $2,000 for two kids in daycare. I'm not too worried. For one thing, I actually watch my kids, so they're never unattended. And aside from the fact that CPD is pretty kick ass in my experience and gets here in a timely fashion, I've got 20 years worth of USMC experience under my roof, and I'm pretty sure he wouldn't hesitate to deal appropriately with any idiot dumb enough to try to break into our house.

You are kidding right? Making this a private vs public argument. This is exactly why no sane person or human with a brain takes you socialist leftist jag-off's seriously, other than those with little or no ability to reason for themselves. Go figure,Go f...off!
Considering the amount of teachers that actually get charged with molesting which doesn't address those who never get reported/charged, it has nothing to do with private/public sector arguments. If anything, kids are less safe in public schools since parents have few choices about where their kids are educated as opposed to who babysits them in daycare.

I'm concerned that the police are not releasing the names of these day-care providers. ALL parents in the area have a right to decide if their children are in danger or not. That's the type of information that should not be protected, but rather released for the safety of all of our children.

So did you develop your overly simplistic views on economics all by yourself, or are they the by-product of too much FOX News watching?
i'm curious why you would call me out on that when obama himself campaigned on the idea of "spreading the wealth". maybe it's HIM you should call out as having a poor understanding of economics, not me.

Wow Rob, that's deep. The only thing Obama gives me is my paycheck from the Department of Defense. I work 60+ hours a week and I'm an Active Reservist. You must have gotten your oxy refilled; I think you meant jealous hater, not hater jealous. Oh ya, and Obama give me HOPE hahahaha!
no, actually i meant "dont be a hater, Jealous." as in jealous being her name, although without the comma, i see how it reads the way you saw it. obama does not GIVE you your paycheck, you EARN it. there is a BIG difference. i also find it curious that both you and your liberal rival are calling me out on the same comment. i'm not certain but i THINK you and i are on the same side.

<quoted text> You are 100% right man, I just wanted to make a point to the bigots that hit these posts on a daily basis. I hate black on black crime and we arent doing ourselves a favor when most of the shootings are about us. Hell if I was white I would probably have to think the worse about us since these are the stories making headlines. But evil is not a bigot...its equal opportunity.
yes, you are correst. and i am very glad that you can put yourself in our shoes to see how you might feel. i am one of the ones that sometimes gets pessed off enough to make some of the "racist" comments. in truth, my best friend is black. my first roommate was black, i get along with blacks pretty well. but the THUGS and CRIMINALS are just too much for me. it doesnt matter what color they are, i hate them all equally but the whites usually try to hide their criminality. these thugs REVEL in it. they throw it in your face and say "now, what you gonna do? you can't touch me." that gets my anger going so bad i just wish i had the power to make every criminal thug in the world drop dead in a heartbeat. i have a very healthy respect for LAW and ORDER. yet i have black people on some of these stories ask me "what's so bad about robbing a bank? nobody got hurt." it is just more than my temper can handle.
