Those criminals aren't even from Elmont. The reality is that burglaries CAN and DO happen ANYWHERE where criminals see an opportunity for personal gain. Rich areas aren't safe from burglaries and neither are poor or middle class areas.

I wonder why people don't ever say that Garden City is becoming ghetto when Hempstead ppl rob it WHILE ppl say that Elmont is becoming ghetto when city ppl rob it. What's with the double standard?

Elmont isn't turning into a ghetto it is a ghetto.
