Police have made an arrest in the bizarre Wisconsin home invasion earlier this month in which a man impersonating a police officer broke into a couple's home and shot them both after demanding money and drugs.

For a moment I figured he was a member of the Metro Gang Strike Force. But, then I remembered his victims were white.

I'm very relieved to know that the guy is locked up. It's not uncommon in rural areas like this for people to sleep with the doors unlocked. I double checked my locks after this particular home invasion! Earlier speculation was that the residents knew the intruder, but it doesn't state that here. Either way, waking up to an armed person in their bedroom must have been frightening.
