if you want to gamble away your life savings, your children's college and your house right out from underneath your family you should be able to do it. The freaking government ought to stay the hell out of peoples lives. BTY personally i feel only morons gamble.

I don't agree with your anti gambling stance. If you remove the excessive gambler from the picture first. For the average normal person with self control, it's just another form of entertainment. Is it any different from the person that loves the opera, They go to NYC, or Saratoga and spend $100's of dollars on tickets to watch a show that I personally wouldn't pay 2 cents to watch. Or the sports fan that pays $100's of dollars to watch a football or baseball game in person. Again I wouldn't pay to see either in person. Or someone who loves movies goes to the local theater and pays $10.00 to watch a new movie. (that I would do if i wanted to) But I guess my point is yes the intelligent gambler knows that over his or her life time they will most likely lose. But if you take it as entertainment, it's no different than spending money on anything where you get nothing when its over.
