Teacher accused of being inappropriate with girls

A 56-year-old teacher at a Warren County middle school is accused of having an inappropriate relationship with two 14-year-old students.

This man and his family was very involved in my church when I was growing up. I assumed he was a nice guy.
I am completely sickened by the story and especially his statements to police. What a shock to the community, people who knew him, and especially his family.

His son was in my class in school. I especially feel horrible for him - his father turned out to be a pervert and a disgrace.

when a lake luzerne teacher can take a miner, student from the school in a personal car to glensfalls, to stay with a aunt. without any permission.while the school refuses to let me call police. gives no reason,just because they can. student ends up on the streets homeless. then pregent, gives up the baby. i'd say this school sucks.

You know, kids are smater than what we give them crdit for. My dauhter had a weird feelingabout one teacher being to friendly. I started keeping my eyes ears open. I noticed that he was very touchy feely with girls. I asked one what kind of teacher he was, and she said he is so nice and always listens to us, he is so cool he even has a website. I told the principal' they monitored his my space and found he was giving them sex advice also, and I don't mean safe sex.

OKAY, first off, this is NOT a new thing. So stop being so surprised. It has happened all over since the begining of schools. It's high time people take off their rose colored glasses and face reality, there are creeps out there and just because someone is a teacher doesn't mean that they are gods.

Schools "used to be safe places" because nobody believed that this could happen and they turned a blind eye to the problem. It's always been there! It's only now that "we" are paying attention. You know the Police Song "Don't Stand so Close to Me" well they didn't make that up out of the clear blue sky. It was based on things that have been happening for a long, long time. Like the book "Lolita" was that pure fiction or was it inspired from real life? And that's another point, these girls were 14. Notthat they should be messing around because they are minors after all but have you seen the way 14 year olds dress and carry themselves? Granted, there is NO excuse for an adult to take advantage of a 14 year old throwing her body at him but I am sure it is difficult. So, I think the parents have a lot to answer for here as well. Why do they allow their daughters to act like tramps? Why does any parent allow it?

Most importantly, If your child or someone else's child says that they have a really bad feeling about a teacher or the teacher is making weird creepy advances to them...LISTEN!! Children generally don't lie about important stuff like that. So don't blow it off as an overactive imagination and LISTEN!!!!

Pre-Teen girls if you don’t recall a few years back which was shown on channels 6,10 and 13 had a story on those colored wrist bands.
