We have purchased a coffee/dairy mini-restaurant whose business will be coupled to our medical practice. This represents phase II of a plan that my partners and I have come up with. In brief, the long-term goal is to have several successful food/hospitality businesses that are coupled to our medical practice. The intention is to eventually remove the requirement of "begging" health insurances to cover certain procedures by not involving them at all. We would supplement the practice finances by these other businesses, and eventually, by patients who will pay an annual fee instead of paying an insurance company.
The first business is a mini-restaurant as mentioned above. We are looking for a person with experience in management; he/she will run the place. Salary and responsibility will be increased as the results allow. We will need references and the person will have to sign a form allowing us to do criminal and credit background checks. The intention will be to make this a long-term career position with increasing responsibilities and eventual ownership possibilities. Any suggestions or insight are welcome. However, if integrity, hard work, and ethics are not at the top of your priority list, please do not apply since you will be wasting everyone's time. Thanks for the interest.
