Recently, the organizers of the massive annual bikers' toy ride that occurs in Tulsa found out that their toy drive would not happen this year. The Salvation Army met them at the court house when they went to get their permit and fought to make sure they couldn't get their permit because they have sponsors like Hooters. The Salvation Army doesn't feel costumers who frequent Hooters, and other establishments that serve beer, are worthy enough to donate to children.
The two kids you are referring too are the ones who are punished by the court house and the Salvation Army's decision.

That's a story the news should report on!

The kids' social worker (if they don't have one it sounds like they should get one) can help you find donations, or a local church. Good luck

Neighbor for Neighbor is a great place. Channel 6 just took in alot of Teddy Bears. Ask the local stores like Walmart how you get your name on there tree.....and someone will pick up the card and purchase these wanted items for there age and wants. Call call call someone will listen, because alot of us have given to more that one charity. Church and Neighbor for Neighbor are my choices. Merry Christmas....it will happen.
