Blinded by the lights of the gas station.
I wonder if that's in any police reports?

So sorry to hear this. Thoughts and prayers to the family and friends of this man. Also to the car full of kids who were involved through no fault of their own. I'm sure this will be a difficult time for them as well. I hope they catch the jerk who hit him and left the scene.

hey guys that guy got what he deserved cuz who crosses highways. highways are for cars and the guy who hit and ran isn't a criminal cuz he must've been scared due to the accident wandering how people cross highways. just dig the issue!

If the driver who left the scene was drunk, there's no way to tell it now. I wonder if the penalty for leaving the scene is less than the penalty for causing a wreck while you're driving drunk? If it is, it needs to be changed.

I am curouis. I wonder if this vehicle was a white 1969 Lincoln Continental with continental package.
If it was it is to my understanding this person may be in charge of a rather large satanic cult. Hopefully, it wasn't and was merely an accident not an attempt to brainwash new recruits out of fear. May the Lord help those children if it was as I suspect. If it is him, know you will be answering to our God.

IMO, this is the most dangerous highway in tulsa. My niece was killed in an accident on this highway almost 2 yrs ago. It happened at night and it is impossible to distinguish headlights from streetlights when attempting to cross 75. My sister lived right off of this highway for years and I can't even count the number of times we watched life-flight land because of accidents on 75. Maybe, just maybe, they will try to fix this someday. Until then, it will continue to take lives. Prayers for the family of the man who died.

Whoever hit-n-ran was not at fault. The guy walking across hwy 75 caused his own death. Nevertheless, the driver should have stopped...

I have no idea the age of the man, or person who took off is, but I am proud of the juveniles who did stop. So many times, people are too scared, and take off...y'all did the right thing. I hope they find the person who hit him, who knows, he TRULY could have thought he hit an animal or something...that HAS happened. Who knows!

How do you know he was barefoot?? That's an odd thing to say..the story said nothing of the kind. It seems you know details no one else would know unless they were at the scene...

Good point URPathetic! How did they know he was barefoot and also who knows-when people get hit it knocks them right out of their shoes literally. I can't believe Jhingo Baba would actually feel this way. No one deserves to get hit and die. I've broke down and had to walk, and I've also had no car before and had to walk where I needed to for nearby things. Yeah there's a bar over there, but there's also a few places to eat too. I live in Glenpool and it is dangerous to cross the highway, but people have done it for years. There's nothing on the other side of the highway for people. I'm sorry for his loss and prayers are with the family. Jhingo Baba maybe you'll find yourself out walking sometime and then you'll see how it is. No one deserves to be hit and killed.

THis jbingo baba is just trying to stir everyone up. He needs to be ignored. I am hoping I am wrong but this driver that ran off if probably in mexico by now. Older white car seems suspicious to me.

I live in glenpool, I take this highway everyday, I see MANY crossing the street on HWY 75 and in six years this is the first ped hit that i know of. The blame goes to the driver, he did not even stop, to see if what or who he hit was okay. My love to the families and I am hoping this driver is caught. The possibility of the driver being drunk, may be very well, since there is a bar just down the road from where the accident happened.

I live right near there as well, I hate to hear about this, I just can;t believe someone would risk there life running across a busy highway. So sad
