The store finders on the Walmart & Supercuts websites show the physical addresses of those business as Glenpool addresses, Glenpool zip code - which makes me question the accuracy of this whole bit of "news". If the new city hall isn't going to be any further west than Walmart (I understand it to be immediately south), how would that be Sapulpa?

Both definitions would apply to certain Glenpool police officers.
Throw some names out there for us. Most people go through life with no interaction with the police. The fact that you and your friends have a lot of experience interacting with the police kind of leans towards implying that you are.....DIRT BAGS!

I recently bought my first home in September of 2009. The first day I moved in I was greeted by a swamp for a backyard. After much investigation, I was told that this was an ongoing issue and even had the City of Glenpool Water Works department come out only to tell me that it was a storm drainage issue from the new neighborhood that was built right behind me... it was built sometime between 2003 and 2007 from what my research has shown. Not only was I deceived by the previous owners, who lied on their disclosure statement, but to have the City of Glenpool to come out and tell me what the issue was and then to flat out tell me that they weren't going to fix it blows me away. I've had countless french drain companies come out to tell me that it is a city issue... surprise surprise! I can't seem to get anyone to take responsibility for this issue. I guess the money I pay into the City through property taxes and even towards storm drainage doesn't mean a thing?!? I've gone from being so excited to buy my first home to feeling like I mean nothing to the City of Glenpool. I have quotes for drainage system- which should be the City's responsibility!- for $11,000!!! I would have never purchased this home if all of this had reared its nasty little head when I first viewed the house, but just my luck... I viewed the home during a dry spell. Yes, the structural inspector should have picked up on the issue, but just one more person that dropped the ball. Regardless, I've been told repeatedly that this is a City issue, so why are they passing blame to Taylor's Pond or just flat out telling me no they won't fix it? My foundation is now cracking and I don't know what to do!!! It seems like they've come so far as a community but yet are starting to forget about the little guy. Need a solution!
