City Sales Tax
Kathy

Tulsa, OK

A few years ago we voted in an extra penny sales tax for Glenpool which was partially designated to build a new community center. Then along came the Tulsa County funding which built the center for us. However, we continue to pay that extra city tax. We have been fortunate to have a new WalMart and other new economic development which has increased our sales tax 3 fold. When are you going to drop our tax back to at least the same amount as Tulsa? I will continue to shop at Tulsa WalMart until the tax in Glenpool is decreased! None of our services have improved, but you continue to get more taxes. Put the money back in our pocket and into our services within the community. This community looks no better than it did before the sales tax increase and services are less, not more. The only improvements I see are due to Vision 2025.
