What is the deal with the parking permits? My wife and I only have one car, but we have relatives that visit often and spend the night, and they wind up getting ticets for parking on the street. I tried to get a parking permit from the Township, and they said, I need to have 2 cars to apply for a permit. Why? Why not give me a permit if I want to pay for it. I want a permit so I can park my car on the street, and allow my guests to park in my driveway, so they don't get a ticket. So basically, I can't have anyone sleep over my house because they can't park their car with out getting a ticket!!! This is riduculous. I bought my home and pay my taxes, I should be allowed to have guests stay at my home. I had more freedom in my dorm freshman year at college.

For the post about briarcliffe parking, all you have to do is call the police[not by 911 though]look up number in the township flyer or phone book and tell them you have an overnight guest parking on the street, they will ask for a plate number and vehicle description, they will not ticket it,if you want question what to do if ticketed,it has never happened to me in 30+yrs.Hope you read this, and enjoy the holidays!
