The Bush Depression is Good for De-Valuing that Humungous Gas Guzzler out in your driveway, that you thought was such a 'Great Deal', that will have you making payments on even if its actually 'paid-Off' at long last. Payments to the Saudi Oil Minister !

$$$ 4 +++ BUCKAROOS per Gallon ....

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED !

Enjoy !

They're writing articles like this is amazing news. Even I knew small cars would be flying off the lots with $4 gas!. Duh!

I would think we will start seeing a rise in small car prices soon, to make up for the SUV's just sitting there.

Not quite. As Americans, if we can't do better then our competitors, we deserve what we get. I say outlaw foreign everything and screw the world. Let China feed Sally Strother's kids in Africa.

This is something that started in the "70's". Then these "IDIOTS" started with the SUV's... all car's should have been at 50 mpg at this point!!! But as they say...there is an a$$ for every seat!!!

And yet another off-target post from Flanders. I don't think you have a clue what a real depression is. Take a swag at what percentage of oil we get from Saudi Arabia these days.

Hoping for $10/gal fuel prices, which should be the tipping point for finally getting the SUV morons off the road. You always have to wonder how someone with obviously a zero mental capacity has the cash to keep driving his SUV aggressively and recklessly everywhere, endangering everyone in his path. Ever notice the dead-eyed stare in his head as he cuts you off, cell phone to his ear? Let's see how long he can tolerate $200 fill-ups... LOL

Can you 'pick-out' the morons posting here who helped put George "DUMBYA" Bush in the Whitehouse for 8 years ? It's Easy !

Oh, minor correction to my first post that should read Saudi Oil Minister, et al who you are making your Guzzler Payments to !

Blame the enviro-wackos who don't want us digging for our own oil. Oh, and there is no depression or recession according to the numbers. It is not our responsibility to bail out a bunch of losers who couldn't afford the houses or cars they bought.

People think they're going to save money in a smaller Vehicle. Wrong. THey still have to make the car payment and the price of gas will still go up. So how is that saving money? I'll keep what I have. It's paid for. Now I just have to pay for the gas. I got 20 gallons for 80 bucks this morning. Nice huh? We are on our own now and no one is going to help us. America is in deep trouble.

Well Eddie, when you open your oil company we'll consider buying from you if you sell it below the prevailing price. But even in that case, unless you have no business sense or investors and a BoD to keep happy you'd charge what the market will bear like everyone else.

Just wondering, what kind of mileage does your group-home minibus get?

The only recession that exists at the moment is in the DNC creative writing department.

I never had an suv and never will. President Carter wanted better gas mileage and nobody wanted to hear it. No one in the oil or auto industry.

Let's really develop the alternate fuels and let them drown in their oil.

Better get your hybrids now before they sell out! In a year or two, plug in hybrids will save the day.
