DoA COG
San Dimas, CA
|
In the Pasaden Star News today, July 11, 2012..
"Cities Considering Leaving COG", this is a must read.
California Cities are:
Walnut, El Monte, West Covina, Diamond Bar, La Puente are a few considering leaving.
Cities are sweeping the dirt out of there communities, this is good news.
When will Glendora, California do the same?

Bull running
San Dimas, CA
|
It was a 5- 0 vote by the Walnut City Councils last night, Wednesday July 11, 2012..
They have had enough of the 'bull running' with the illegally run SGVCOG.
Let Nick T. Conway go gown with his 'ship' he used to enrich himslf with and for those who signed on with him too.

Honesty
San Dimas, CA

If SGCOG wants to continue to survive in one piece and even thrive, it's going to need to clean house.
Nick Conway isn't the ONLY crook in the HEN house at COG.
Hoping that Nick Conway is going to be exonerated of his crimes or criminal actions is nothing but a pipe dream.
why not hire a former Mayor of a San Gabriel Valley City and former prosecutor who is on great terms with high-level Dems and Republicans.
Somebody with a reputation for hard work and honesty.

If Glendora, California does not remove itself from this syndicate (RICO) we should vote at the polls for recalls of city council members who support Nick Conway and the SVCOG.
They are paying him almost $800 thousand dollars a year right now and he wants more
Just another shyster Bottom feeder, empowered by elected officials from the 31 cities involved!

GasBags

The SGVCOG spends thousands on PR pieces.
They have a former San Gabriel Valley Tribune employee who coordinates their propoganda.
Take for example the day that King took his City of Walnut out of COG.
The COG put out a blast by gasbag Barbara Messsina that the COG was valuable addressing all of the Sacramento mandates that cities could not afford.
Yeah, pay Nick CONway $750,000 and his three students will work on your mandate.
Real cost effective, huh?

Votes In
San Dimas, CA
|
In light of recent events, should the San Gabriel Valley Council of Governments be disbanded?
Total Votes = 743
Yes 625 Votes, or 84.11 %
No 118 Votes, or 15.88 %
LOOKS LIKE THE OFFICIAL VOTE IS IN FAVOR OF LEAVING THE 'COG' HIGH AND DRY , SO THEY CAN GO PLAY WITH THEMSELVES.

Conventions
San Dimas, CA
|
More lanudrying of monies for crooked deals that are being hatched at these closed door meeting or gathering of the RICO members.
I find the $625 to attend a convention put on by an organization that promotes development to be shocking.
And those hotel prices - are there no Motel Sixes in the San Diego area?
Why would anyone from Glendora, California go to that?
Save the tax payers money and stay at home and watch it on the evening news cast. If they feel they must, they need to pay for it themselves.

Definations
San Dimas, CA
|
You know Delach is quite right when he says: "No single individual, or Governing Board Member, should be cause to disband or kill the organization."
Unfortunately, he and the majority of the others who participated in the COG allowed the organization to be turned into one that serviced Nick Conway, not the public.
Remember the Nick Conway devotee quote "The COG IS Nick", or "Nick IS the COG."
The representatives who were happy to eat and take home notes are responsible for letting one individual become the definition of the organization.

Wasted fees
Covina, CA
|
Glendora, California Residents should attend the next Council meeting and demand to know if the dues were paid to the SGVCOG, and if so, why a public meeting was never held to discuss the matter or the city's continued participation in the organization.
