2:30 PM I think they got the signatures then found out one of the gatherers did things wrong and you know John - Follow the law by the book. There's not really a time limit its just changes when it will be voted on. I'm anxious to see what happens. It was so easy to get signatures, maybe we could do a recall instead. People really don't like the council - especially Gary and Doug.

5:32 PM When signatures were gathered for the Assisted Living at Bonnie Cove and Gladstone (too HIGH, too DENSE business in a residential neighborhood) many, many Glendora voters thought it was a recall petition, and were extremely disappointed when they found out it wasn't. After collecting signatures for the Districting Plan, and hearing so many of the same Glendora voters are still unhappy with this City Council and the direction they are taking our city (and lots of NEW voices raising their displeasure and concerns also), it's very hard to imagine how in the world Tessitor, Clifford and Herman got re-elected. And good luck to Kelly and Daivs "IF" they run again. People are so disappointed in both of them. What's that saying, fool me once..........

10:08 PM What, you don't think they talk to him. Of course they ask for advice, it's only natural. Especially since John's the only one standing between the city leaders and the all out extreme intimidation that used to happen in this town. You know, rocks through the window, pipe bombs on the porch. Throwing those that disagree against a wall and telling them to shut up. The tactics were much more harsh before John came along.

Such a poor sport, our little dictaors in Glendora City Hall have been having a tizz-fit ever since John Harrold made the psoters on his web pages to PONEY UP and leave their real name and email address before being allowed to post.

This was in dorect response to terrible spamming by City Hall Employees of Glendora, California.

Such a waste of time on the part of these paid employees to be using foul language and spaming a free speech we site!

All five of the City Council members are responsible for the actions of these few city employees - but what recourse dose one have since they can't control themselves in a public meeting.

A little background on John Harrold Recalled Glendora Mayor

John Harrold is a sick man. He is a clinical Paranoid personality. Look at his history and the crap he allows on his web site.

Harrold’s number one enemies are those that in his sick mind have taken away his “rightful” place leading this city.
It was these actions that were the catalyst for Harrold’s obsession

Harrold, went insane and fired the commissioners, the city attorney and the city manager in a 90 day period of time after achieving a council majority. 90 days later the recall was launched.

Harrold’s followers have embellished the fantasy that he created and created myths of epic proportions to fit Harrold’s imaginings.

The Harroldites should be pitied. Their dreams of revenge will destroy them - not the people that have done so much for this community. I’m sure that bothers Harrold more than anything

If you need more information ask local residents what they think about how this current City Council has destroyed there town and watched the Councils friends enRICH themselves.

Laws and codes don't matter to the Councils friends because this Council will change them or look the other way until the job is done, but if they get caught RED handed then the City Attorney and City Staff will defend them in Court or with other Gov't agency's.

Funny... I seem to recall Mr. Harrold stating over and over again that he had nothing to do with the re-districting effort. Looks like one of his own cronies has ratted him out! My bet would be that after months of trying to gather signatures they could not muster enough support to or signatures to move forward. Someday a long time from now, John Harrold will realize that the people of Glendora (except for his few Koolaid drinkers) don't want him, his politic or his drama in our town. He should move to Claremont. He'd fit right in with all of the malcontents over there!

7F Dave Yount, a Glendora resident, referred to a cable television program (on the public access channel) in which John Harrold and Paul Marshall spoke about the proposed development at Lone Hill and Gladstone. He said Mr. Marshall made a statement that the 48-acre site would be worth $10 million and Mr. Harrold then stated that Rainbird Way, the street that is in the middle of the project site, would be worth $3 million. Mr. Yount said that would mean that Rainbird Way is worth $46 a square foot, and if figured on the same basis, the entire 48-acre site would be worth $96.4 million. He said Mr. Harrold is feeding the citizens misleading information.

I have had pro cars [hearses ] here at my house for 18 years. I just had to move them as per City demand last September. I fought with the city for 6 months. I have a large peice of property (back Lot). I had 32 cars back there. I was restoring them too. Not just sitting.

No neighbors complained! A code enforcment officer looked over my fence. He then went to all of my neighbors and tried to solicit complaintes. Mind you we have been here for 52 years. So have our neighbors. We are all like secondary family to each other. they said my cars including the hearses were a violation of codes for parked cars, health violations, home business etc etc.

They charged me with 19 criminal charges. They said they would drop them all if I moved the cars within 72 hours. I found a place two miles away on 745 E.Route 66 Glendora

I now have to move again as per city demand. As they want to redevvelope that area this year. Ther even rozoned it "PD1". Planed Development!. What the city wants they ussualy get.

My neighbors loved my cars even the pro cars [hearses] and have even sold neighbrs cars before. I'm about to lose over $100,000.00 in cars to the city again. Once they have their claws in you they don't let go.

Eventually they want our homes here on my street because they want redevelope here. We are a group of 12 homes, some nearly 100 years old. We have very very large lots where ou can build 4 homes on just peice of property. Now times that by 12. Thats 48 homes!

Plus thats new higher property taxes. We all pay less than $200.00 per year in taxes. Too make a very long story short the city has nothing to say about what type of car you can have in your own driveway. Nor do the neighbors. Allthought the city says i'm running a home business if I have the hearses here!
