Not to be insensitive, but did they REALLY have to land a helicopter on the freeway for a broken arm and leg? I hope his insurance covers that, cuz it'll be a huge bill!!!!!
On a lighter note, glad he's okay.

All that money saved on gas and parking fees by riding a motorcycle...and all that time saved too!

This one calls for an investigation. Who authorized the Air Ambulance if there were
not life threatening injuries as a result of
the accident and why?

Being that it was a motorcycle accident, they were probably very worried about his head and neck. He was going ~50 when he hit the car so it probably was a pretty hard hit. This is just based off him being taken to USC medical center and not Foothill. They had another accident not long after this one too....

Keep an eye on the distance ahead of you - not just the one car ahead of you.

MOST motorcyclists are a bunch of dopes. Now, there are a FEW who do realize that a CAR is bigger and stronger, but there are a few morons that think they can wear leather and be macho. Oh well - I bet he NEVER rides like a hot-shot again. If he does, Darwinism will surely win again.

They took him to County USC because the bill

Air Ambulance.

He may have had internal bleeding. They can't be sure without proper monitoring equipment only found in a trauma center.

His injuries are alot more serious than what is being told and he is in surgery as we speak. He is a father of 4, a retired Marine and an excellent human being. Show some kind words and Prayers. Thank You

It's inevitable, ride a bike long enough and you will crash. It's not a matter of "if". It's a matter of "when".

Hope he makes a full recovery.

I'm sorry to hear that he is more seriously hurt than just a few broken bones. He's in my thoughts and prayers.
