Damascus woman shot, killed in Glendale

A Damascus woman is dead after being shot in Southern Oregon. Barbara Lea Tooley, 59, of Damascus died at the scene in Glendale, Ore., said John Hanlin, Douglas County Sheriff in a press release.

What is going on in Glendale....last night an apparent standoff with the swap team down the road. The shootings and suicides I think we need help here in this little tow, please start praying for healing and persecution for the one responsible for the shooting. Lord help us we despertly need it.

Has anyone heard if they ever got the guy that did the shootings in azalea oregon??it is oct 14th as of today i havent heard anything else i am kinda scared i live alone well my daughter and i here in azalea?just wanting a update.

They have not caught him. The SWAT team busted a guy for robberies in Lane & Josephine county. It was not related to the shooting. You can read about it here:

From what I hear the search for this guy is leading to trouble for many of the more shady residents of Glendale. It sounds like the door to door efforts of the police are not turning up much in relation to the shooting but they are finding all sorts of other criminals. Hide your drugs folks, the cops are coming.

As a recent Glendale transplant I'm thrilled to hear that the door to door search is rousting the criminals in their places of hiding at home! LOL! It's such a quiet little town and it breaks my heart to hear of the recent shootings here. I guess it happens everywhere you go but little settings like this just don't strike me as a place of murderous activities. Glad I have a barking dog and decent rolling pin! Oh.....and I watch out for the well being of my neighbors. Sometimes in these little towns..neighbors is all you have to stay safe.

I moved from that place in 2006 after 10 years, It was either that or go to jail for taking care of the meth heads and cooks that stole from me, vandalized my property, and ultimately caused more than $100,000 in loss and damages to me. Some was covered by insurance but 95% wasn't. To date zero was done by the police, even when they knew the culprits and had them in custody for unrelated charges.

If there is ever marshal law in this county I'm going to go take some trash out.
