I was a foster kid in Lemay at the Steinkamp Dairy,1940s. The house burned down in about 1945. Any body remember this dairy?

As a 14 year old, I worked and lived at the Steinkamp Dairy from 1952, staying, off and on, until 1954.

I was born and lived in Lemay for 40 years. I once saw a milk bottle my cousin had that said Lemay Dairy on it. Anyone ever heard of that? Not sure where he got the bottle.

The first foster home I was in was the Steinkamp Dairy farm in Lemay. That bottle must have come from there because that was the only dairy. They used glass bottles but did not use their last name "Steinkamp" because in the early 40s Germans were not too popular.
