I moved here in 1973 and there has been so much improvement since then. There was a small house on Glen Ellyn road that was the library and across the street was the fire station and police dept.
Today we have a Library,Fire department,Village Hall, Police department, Sports hub with a pool,A brand new senior center. We
have lots of parks for walking, different sports and activities.
My sons played little league sports at Reskin Park and also went to
Reskin School. People should come and enjoy our parks. They just upgraded Reskin Park a few years ago and it is one of my favorites. Veterans Park is another intersting park to visit.
Camera park has one of the best displays of fireworks for our fourth of July. So many more parks for you to enjoy. Glendale Heights is a proud progressive village. Come visit us.
