I received probably 20 pieces of full color; 2 page mailers for this election.I believe it was all from Mike Gatto. They called our home probably 4 or 5 times at least, asking for our votes. Anyone know who paid for this? The candidates, the lobbiests or the taxpayers? The mailers to my house must of cost $5 alone. Something is wrong here...

I'm pretty sure you did not receive anything like 20 pieces, but I'll call Mike's consultant and check that out for you. They cost nothing like $5 each. More like sixty cents, delivered.
As for the people calling, they were all volunteers. I could easily have been one of them.
And the taxpayers did not provide a dime for the campaign, more's the pity.
I'll tell you what is wrong here: Ignorant dolts like you thinking that modern campaigns are something that they are not. You seem to be complaining about special interest money AND public money funding a campaign.
Make up your tiny mind as to which system you actually WANT.

Mike sent out 12 mailers in the runoff.
Enough of the hysterical hyperbole.
(Full color! Wow!)
