Kansas City Police shot small dog 4 times!

KANSAS CITY, MO - A Kansas City, Missouri, man says that a police officer shot his Jack Russell terrier for no reason.

Charles Wickizer says that he's devastated over the loss of his dog, Fatts, who was shot four times by a police officer in his backyard.

He says that someone claimed that he was going to hurt himself or the dog, but he says that wasn't true. Wickizer says that the dog somehow got out of the house and into the backyard where it was shot and killed.

"I cant understand why they would do something like that to a little dog in his own yard," said Wickizer. "I'm not a violent offender, I'm a law abiding citizen."

Police have not commented on the incident.

This is absolutely ridiculous!! If an officer is going to shoot a small dog in it's own back yard for defending it's territory from a tresspasser, he doesn't need to be on the police force. That officer didn't use good judgement or good common sense. People like that SHOULD NOT be carrying a gun. He should be fired, but he'll probably just get a slap on the wrist if that. This story just p*sses me off!! Why on earth would an officer shoot a little dog like that? Is he that terrified of little dogs? He needs a psych eval as well as being fired. What a loser!!!!!

If he is that trigger happy, how do you think he would handle a stressful situation with a person? Thats the kind of cop that shoots first and asks questions later. "Opps I killed the innocent black guy, just sprinkle some crack on em!"

The cops went to the home because there were reports that the man inside might hurt himself or his dog, he deneys this claim. Funny the cops went to make sure the dog was safe and then he killed it! I bet the person who called the cops feels pretty stupid.

Perhaps a good citizen will to this piece of worthless shit what he did to the dog.

I used to be against such thinking, and a real pro-LEO type, but after hearing this and many other stories of oppression and acts of evil committed by these bastards, I an no longer opposed to independent action against such individuals.

Like the piece of shit who tasered a non violent man for 30 seconds and killed him. Whould not make me sad to see the bastard go go hell.

Why did channel 4 only mention the story and no other news agency I looked everywhere. The media protects the cops no doubt from bad PR. I think everyone should call their local news station and demand a full story for this! What about PETA? they were so mad when obama killed a fly, I would think this would get more attention.

That was an awesome idea!! I have already sent them an e-mail explaining the situation. If more people will send an e-mail to PETA then maybe something can be done about this. We don't need or want trigger happy cops on the police force shooting the very one he was sent to protect!!
