Jason Kerr is actually the Captain. He isn't a chief!!! He does a fine job!!!

Jason's alright. He's just been working against some bad circumstances. You are only good as your leadership. If given the chance to work without being interfered with I feel he would blossom into a good chief. For you people that post these things to start trouble, understand this Jason isn't going anywhere, Mr. Houck isn't going anywhere. You're wasting your time so cry on some other board.

I agree about the two of them. They do their job and do it good. Everyone one here just has to run there mouths about someone!!! There lives must REALLY SUCK as they seem to have a lot of free time to spread crap about people such as Kerr, Houck and some of the sheriff candidates. I wish you all good luck!! Get a life!!

In mayor thread you were singing the mayor's praises. But if you read above you wrote that Kerr has bad leadership. Well guess what? the mayor is who Kerr answers too...lmao you dumbazz..

If it were possible I would say the good people of Mabscott need to start a petition and see if we can get the legislature to pass a law that would keep Mr. Houck in until he chooses to retire. You would think you would have learned your lesson by now you rambling fool, the election like everything else that goes on down there is rigged and illegal. I never said we should suspend elections, we don't have to. The people here are perfrectly content why don't you see this? We have a good peacefull life in Mabscott. All that I meant is that no other person has the courage,wisdom and audacity to stand against Mayor Houck. I don't know how much more will be tolerated but you better watch it.Go about your life and simply leave us alone! Can you do that? Can you leave us alone? I hope you will for your sakes. I lived in the Mabscott area over 20 years ago (just across the then city line), and I have to commend the job Mayor Houck did at that time. One of the then Mabscott police officers came to my home and threatened to take off my dog, which was on my property, on the front porch. When I told him he had no juristiction because I lived just outside the city limits, and that my dog wasn't bothering anyone, and was on my property, he began talking down to me and threatening me (probably because I am a woman) thinking he could intimidate me. I went to Mayor Houck and explained what happened to him, and he made that officer come in to the City Hall and apologize to me and guaranteed me that it would never happen again, and it didn't. Because of that incident, I have much respect for Mayor Houck and have not forgotten the effort he put into making the situation right. I am sure he has done many things like that for other people also, so you are going to be hard pressed to find anyone who will not vote for him even if he does have opposition in an election. I know that if I still lived there (my area was incorporated years after I moved) I would vote for him.

You like to keep making your cyberspace threats from the comfort of your living room, but unless you have badge to hide behind, you best be careful just who you seek out. I posted it on both sites just in case it wasn't read on the other. This little old lady is 53 years old with 4 children from the ages of 4 to 17 at home, so not so old. This little old lady also has an opinion like all the others on here, but at least I do it with some dignity, not acting like an idiot like most of you. I use to live in the little white house at the end of town next to the trailer that is also no longer there. The church purchased both properties and tore them both down.
