Good coverage.
Perhaps some of these issues will become clearer as the April vote nears, as to what the overall sentiment of the voters are. Then the legislation should fall into place.

that with a long line of of developers, real estate agents and land speculators being elected to the board of trustees and Mayor that the town never came up with open space guidelines. Some of us remember when the series of meetings were held pre-1996 to get input for the Estes Valley Comprehensive Plan, and the majority opinion was to limit condo development and to preserve viewsheds and control density. The plan that was written totally ignored the public input, with the excuse given that "property rights trump all!".

Here we are 17 years later and most of those original "property rights" folks have profited from development and then left town. There legacy includes the shamefully dense condo-land that used to be Storer Ranch. And we're still left with a crop trustees who hope the idea of smart development will just "go away".......there are still pockets of land to develop and make money on, you see......

Look who you elect as Trustees.....Realtors, developers, bankers. And you wonder why open space is being developed?
