with the increase of the Fern Lake fire, a new fire at Carter Lake, Lake Estes so low, & the winds so high, i was surprised that you were still talking about having the fireworks show. is making tourists happy really more important than safety? i hear that the show was cut short because of small grass should have been postponed!

Scr** the American Legion, stop all wars and shooting of death bombs made in China.

Saw the grass fire just east of the nine hole golf course from our vantage point - started after that one funky firework came down with dozens of flaming pieces. Most ended up on the dry reservoir bed, but a few blew onto the hillside east of the golf course. We were very surprised that there more fires didn't start.

Of course, no mention of the grass fire or the abrupt end of the fireworks in the local "news".

Isn't this the local "news"? Aren't you mentioning it? Be the change you wish to create, SS Pork, Rednik Nazis, bit** for the sake of bit**ing, move to Estes Park instead of Beckley, etc., etc.,
