I live on Dry Gulch Road, too, and while the potholes are a nuisance, even worse are the high motorist speeds (which I'm sure is making the pothole problem worse).
Before residential and commercial development on the first stretch of this road, it was just a county byway and 40 mph was reasonable. Today, however, quite a few families live right on this road; my son has to wait on this road for the bus without the benefit of even a sidewalk to stand on. Cars flying by at 40 mph makes it a dangerous place to be.
I wish that the Town would reduce the speed limit to 30 mph for the safety of our kids, our pedestrians, and the cyclists who often use Dry Gulch.

The people who claim they would be swallowed by potholes are either too small to worry about, too full of bluster to believe, or wouldn't be missed.
Yes, this means you, Sandy biatch.
