Fire Burns Landmark Downtown Estes Park
A fire destroyed a major landmark in downtown Estes Park Monday morning. The fire apparently began in the Park Theater Mall and flames and smoke were shooting above the building at daybreak.

What a shame to see history destroyed. I can remember when it was a livery stable and the Police would have to block traffic so the horses and the dudes could get started on their rides. I hope that when they rebuild it they stick to the design of the old building.
