death. Look, just admit it - You never wanted to fight this fire, it will get out of control, then you will make excuses about 800 year old fuel load and inaccessibility. You wanted it to be a wilderness, remember how proud you were of the wilderness designation. So you are the ones who didn't allow roads or trails back to these "inaccesibull" areas.
But please, don't brag over the next few months about how your interns are getting practice managing this fire. Because we all known a month later, it will burn out of control and you will be begging for help from the level 1 professionals, who will have to come in and save your sorry aspuhs. |
