Shortly after we ring in the New Year, residents, visitors, tourists - anyone 21 years of age with a valid driver's license - will be able to walk into any one of hundreds of businesses across the state and purchase up to an ounce of a drug over the counter that is still illegal under the federal Controlled Substances Act.

Seriously, nothing is going to change. There were just as many pot smokers before A64, and no one really took notice of them...the only difference now is these people do not have to fear being charged. No one is going to do their tourist thing in a town that isn't open to folks are making a mountain out of a mole hill, just because you are disturbed A64 passed. Drinkers can be dangerous, violent, and in general cause a lot of problems for society...but stoners really just want to be left alone to do what they will in the privacy of their homes...they are almost never violent or the cause of societal issues.

Of course we're ready, that's why A64 gained 55.32% of the vote. Could the voters speak any louder?

Cannabis has been legal in CO for over a decade, nothing is really going to change.
