While I have to aplaud the efforts of Sheriff Smith and Chief Kufeld who have in all probability planned for such an event in one of our local school. And I guess I should give kudos to the School District for at least making this a public matter. I can't help but wonder why the School District was not represented at the State Capatial on Jan 28, 2013, when SB 009 was before a Senate Committee. I can't help but wonder why our School District was not expressing it's views before Sentor's King, Lundberg, Ulibarri, Aguilar and Guzman, the last three of which vote down our School District's oppourtunity to make such an important decision. Where were they then?
