The problem isn't what type of people work here in the summer....they are NOT hired/needed year round! The point was made high schoolers had these jobs...well duh, because they are not needed year round! They can't figure that out? Ouch.

I find it interesting that major social media sites ( e.g: @stanleyhotel @vistestespark @estespark etc) used by our valuable visitors all have photos at some point showing the elk and other wild animals grazing on Lot4. Guess these will just be fond memories when the concrete starts being poured and the lights on the new parking lots are on all night. Its a shame that the visitors first time or repeat generations who help support the town of Estes Park have no ability to help preserve the open spaces. Please vote NO to this short term thinking that will benefit only a few
