town government, screw the Estes Park police, screw that bozo sheriff. It will be legal, and I'll have my six plants growing openly.

Don't want to obey or respect the will of the people? Resign!

The University of British Columbia, Vancouver, Canada recently reviewed 15 studies that evaluated the association between violence and drug law enforcement. "Our ļ¬ndings suggest that increasing drug law enforcement is unlikely to reduce drug market violence. Instead, the existing evidence base suggests that gun violence and high homicide rates may be an inevitable consequence of drug prohibition and that disrupting drug markets can paradoxically increase violence."

My Goodness.. Getting grass in Estes was as easy as pie from 1976 to 1983 the years I lived there.

I moved to Estes from an area known for it's grass at the time, and Estes Park never left any of us in want. Everyone in school smoked it at some point or another. There used to be 'Fish Creek' behind the High School, and there were shelters by some Tennis COurts.. Fish creek on the nice days, and up in the rafters of the shelters on the cold days. Before school.. during lunch, after school etc..

Pretty casual though.. it was so common place no one thought about it. Sometimes we would get blatatnly caught .. a few times by officers.. not a big deal. If they didn't see it with thier eyes, they didn't deal with it much.

Truth be told, I never had so much access to so much grass until I moved to Estes Park.. and as I got older I found so many teachers, policemen, doctors and professional people there were smoking at least on occasion as well. The area seems to bring out the artsy and the earthy and the land lovers, the open minded, the naturalists, of which many tend to like some grass at least now and then.

Anyway, the point is, somethings never change. Those who didn't want to see it then, didn't. Those who don't now, don't.

Best bet in Vegas, if your kid lives in Estes PArk, and wants to smoke weed.. it wont take them but an afternoon and a bit of legwork... I can almost guarantee there isn't LESS grass than when I was young there......

Which leaves me to wonder, now grass is legal in the state.. why is Estes Park taking it out on sick people?

Regardless of all feelings about it, it very much really does help a good many folks.. I mean bloody help them.. seen it with my own eyes.. lived it.. when the morphine is destroying your liver and bowels and they are running out of options and you find you can eat something that is non toxic instead, and gives you a fighting chance at sucking it up. Anyway, why take out mariuana bias on sick people? They are the only onee hurt here.. Estes is fairly seculuded.. yikes.. how moral is that to send people down the canyon when they are truly sick and can be helped by something as silly as silly silly marijuana.

So Estes is anti-pot, as is Larimer County as a whole and certainly the sheriff. We get that, and you didn't have to pad out this article with a bunch of the good sheriff's totally beside the point soapboxing to get the point across. But also: BFD. You can like it or not like it, but the days of Reefer Madness hysteria are over, and a sheriff with a mid 20th century attitude and the only Colorado mountain town run by bluehairs are not going to change that.
Look I do your ad here

to the doctrane of gas grass or ass no one rides free but this is ridiculous to say that everyone smoked weed in Estes Park when it is clear that Arkansas or Texas or wherever there is a substandard supply chain and Jesus Mary and Joseph will suck face and that is all I have to say about that
