It means you need to buy supplemental insurance from AARP? Easy to see why AARP pushed obamacare and reductions in Medicare coverage, it is a goldmine for them. Estimates say they stand to make over $1BILLION.
AARP lobbied for policies that would benefit its bottom line, not its members, according to the report. Cuts to Medicare Advantage, the private version of Medicare run by health insurers, would push more people into the programs supplemental products such as one provided under AARPs brand, which offers extra coverage on top of the governments Medicare program.
