Yes - that's a lovely point, except that this wellness center will be for people with plenty of cash - if the hospital can raise the cash.

We give two million dollars to EPMC every year. Will the funds for proposed "Wellness" center come from that stipend?
What if Anschutz concept fails?

The hospital claims they will get 1 million in revenue from the wellness center, but as usual they don't mention their expenses. They thought the remodel would bring in more revenue. Then they thought having an orthopedic surgeon would bring in more revenue.

If John Cullens and Anshutz thought the wellness center portion was going to make money, they would not be giving that portion of the business to EPMC.
