There is nothing "common sense" about a bankrupt state providing sanctuary and benefits to 460,000 illegals while tripling the income tax rate for citizens.

Frankly, what the gaggel of eight proposed resembels nothing close to the use of comon sense. The minimal fine they propse is ridiculous considering how long the taxpayers have been propping them up. Allowing illegals to continue to work jobs they undercut an American is unconscionable. To never consider ending the outated birthright citizenship debacle shows they have no clue about how much illegals are working a system in which they hardly if ever contributed. Common sense dictates that since the last shmensty of '86, very few of those amnestied registered Republican, and there is no concrete evidence that would lead us to believe that this time would around turn out any differently.

Common sense seems to be seriously lacking from D.C. and not just in the immigration arena.
