Leaderonline is the only newspaper or website that mentioned the connection between Jeffrey Moss and Donna Karan. Someone should follow up on the following questions:
1. Role, if any, of Karan or husband in posting bail 2. Contacts, if any, between Nassau police and Karan or husband 3. Role, if any, of Karan or husband in retaining lawyers for Moss 4. Why this fact, i.e., Moss's pending marriage to Karan's stepdaughter, has never appeared in Newsday or the New York Times (as far as I can tell from searches) 5. Whether this connection has influenced the decision to grant relatively low bail. 6. Whether this connection is influencing Nassau DA Kathleen Rice's decision concerning the prosecution of Jeff B. Moss. http://www.theleaderonline.com/2007/glencover... |

The word is, is that Moss is still driving around Glen Cove, like a reckless a-hole. There is definately something wrong here!!!

What you have is a Broken down Govt, Legal and Health system.

Can you please tell me the website you got this information from? Thank you I would apperciate it very much |

Thank you very much friend! |

God I hope he pays for this!!

i contacted newsday about the connection asap. got no reply or interest. amazing how it erupted and then got quickly quashed. donna karan? her stepdaughter was already married to the ahole for about 2 weeks. if we dont demand answers and justice, he will get awy with murder!

Good luck with that useless rag Newsday.
Theoretically there could be some trickle-down effect on advertising if they incriminate a family member of a world-famous designer. Don't buy anything Donna Karan. Definitely don't buy Newsday. |
||||
You should call "The Long Island Press" and ask them to do a story, maybe Michael Martino might be interested. The do stories on hot topics that push people's buttons and news stories that Newsday doesn't really focus on. I an VERY surprised DA Kathleen Rice isn't all over this!!! That accident was horrific, and here it is almost one year later and it seems no one is talking about this!!! It is an outrage! |
||||
|
I was thinking along the same lines, especially since the LI Press seems to vehemently dislike Newsday...
One thing though, the publisher of Long Island Press, Jed Morey lives right across the street from Moss, or Moss's wife, or whatever - I wonder if they have cocktail hour or play croquet? I say that we contact LI Press and see if the corrupt underworld of rich influence squelches that deal. |
||||
|
Yes! I say go for it. If Morey has any real balls, he will let his paper run a story.

I cant wait to see him behind bars. The people seems to have forgoten about this case

it is insane how long this is being dragged out... I can't imagine how frustrated the victims' families must be. I know that case has gone to trial but there is just a chain of endless adjournments.
Have lots of money behind you, a connected lawyer and you are likely to stay free as a bird. I hope that karma really does exist... |
||||
|
I hate to see how long this is taking, there is nothing to research for the jury, Jeff Moss is a murdered simple as that. Stop wasting Tax-payers money and send him to Jail once for all !!!
|

well, that is a statement and sentiment said out of exasperation - regardless of the circumstances (he IS guilty), due process is important, otherwise the police just come and take you away and that's that? That is what happens to political dissidents in China and other places where our superior (but flawed) system is not in play.

Here ya go....on the internet ...www.webcrims.com Just log in as a guest.....now you owe me one! |

I'm sorry, I didn't read all the posts and webcrims was already mentioned.
Anyway, I just checked webcrims and the listing is not there. If it's gone for a week it most likely means that a plea deal was reached and agreed upon or the charge was dropped. So looks like it's a done deal, the end! |
