Actualy, Mel himself is a "light skin Latino" ,which makes his stories of harsh discrimination against him as a youth sort of hard to believe.In fact, when he first turned up at a City Council meeting a mere few weeks before the election ( many claim it was the first time they had ever seen him within the Council Chambers ) I thought he was a white guy until his name flashed across the screen !
It really is no wonder that race riots on school campuses has seen an upswing in Southern California with guys like him on our school boards. When it comes to voting for school board members I've always just picked a name on a hunch and probably voted for him (like I said , it's not something I ever paid much thought to so I really don't remember).I'm certainly going to pay closer attention in the future, especially since guys like him squeek by and once elected, go forth making "big changes "
like trying to rename schools named after US Presidents .I could see Paul J Rogers being candidate for renaming. But choosing 18th president Grant, who, as Truth forgot to include, was instrumental in winning the Mexican-American War ,hints at something more sinister in Albiso's thought patterns.

When are these activists going to quit? White people are discriminated against in southern California more than any other race. Try being a middle aged white man, applying for the same job as a Hispanic, Asian, or Black with the same qualifications. You won't get the job obviously, your too white!

Given the fact you mistake Nuami as white (remember,as I stated earlier, I mistook Albiso as white the first time at saw him at the council meeting) gives more creedance to the common belief expressed here that Albiso is in fact a racist who hates white folk and yearns for an all Latino council/city management team,iregardless of the fact that it would not be repressentative of the community at large.During the recall, the main targets of ColtonFirst were caucasion: MayorChastain,Daryl Parish,John Mitchell (remember CM Richard DelaRosa's sister reading a rather hateful indictment of Mr. Mitchell at the May meeting?A letter the CM, who by profession ,a State corrections officer, is a racist by means of survival in one of the country's only segregated prison system)) and Nuami,who as you just pointed out, is commonly mistaken for white.

You must not have watched anything. Albiso does not look white and is not a light skinned Latino and does not look white. And he announced his own name when he spoke.
