I hate to disagree with you, but they ARE teens - eighteen and nineteen are still teenagers. Call them Young Adults or Teenagers, not kids or children. I want to see them prosecuted and punished as much as you do - but they ARE still teenagers.

From your link:

At 18, your teen can vote, buy a house or wed his high school sweetheart. He can also go to jail, get sued, gamble away his tuition via online poker, and make terrible stock market investments – just like you.

I am not arguing that at 18 people reach the age of majority and are an "adult" in the eyes of the law, but if the age ends in "TEEN", the person is still a teenager. Even in the above excerpt from your link, the person is referred to as a teen. My preference is Young Adult - one who has most of the legal rights of an adult but not the same level of maturity.

to me they are just criminals now. Teens young and old can kill. they can also pay the price. They would have not made me take my offspring back into the house after this

This is what I have been told:
When they first got their hands on the puppy, there was a third boy with them. He wanted the puppy for himself, but he had to go ask his Dad for permission. By the time he and his father got back, the puppy was foaming at the mouth and limp. They took the puppy with them, and realized it had been tortured. I have no clue why they didn't take the puppy to the vet immediately, but the did call the police. I do not believe that Puppy Doe could have been saved, but at least he could have been humanely euthanized, instead of suffering for 4 hours before he finally succumbed to the relief of death.

They are sadists and should be watched closely for the rest of their lives. A child is missing in the area they are in, these two should be looked at first. They own child is missing or dead, they should be looked at first. Some say they are time bombs waiting to go off. I say they have already gone off, but if not stopped soon they will do it again, and next time it is likely to have escalated to a human being, and some of the hillbillies that are defending them can no longer say 'It was just a dog'.

You would have to be mentally defective to be defending these sadists, but then that is veyr apparent by their posts. They ramble and rant, can't spell, know absolutely nothing about punctuation, and leave themselves open to others pointing out just how what lunatics they are....(ie, we should be doing something better with our time..but I guess Preston and Levi were making the most of their time when they tortured the dog? It was just a dog? Well these two are just demons. There are worse things happening to concern ourselves with..Oh, so.. by that ridiculous logic we should ignore bank robbers and thieves, because there are worse crimes being committed?? And one of my all time favorites: The young people in that area don't have anything better to do for recreation. Really?)

That is horrible, and I agree with you I don't know why they didn't take him immediately to the vet unless it was apparent that the puppy was no longer alive.

Yep, but at least they called the police..so proud that they did that. Some would have just thrown the dead puppy in the trash, and just let it go.

If you listen to some of the other posters, who claim to be from that area, it seems that you might be right. I know it occasionally happens all over the US,(Ohio is particularly a bad state to live in for animals, LOTS of abusing going on there) but if you listen to some of the illiterate cockroach posters here, seems it is a 'sport' in that particular area. According to one poster, she says the young people don't have much else to do for entertainment? Then another one (could be the same one, because all these cockroaches who are defending the monsters change their profile names every other post they make, to make it appear there are LOTS Of people condoning what these two did) says that if they locked up every male in that area that has tortured an animal to death, they wouldn't have room in the prison/jail? Then another one said how else were they going to rid themselves of stray dogs? LMAO..unbelievable..even if they do believe these things, can't believe that in today's enlightened society, they have so little couth or intelligence that they just really don't know any better than to post those statements..

I have to believe these cockroaches are related to the puppy killers/abusers, or girls so desperate for a 'man' they are willing to overlook the fact that these two are obviously monsters.(We all know that even serial killers in prisons have fans,so stands to reason there are some ignorant enough to 'want' these two as well)

I have been told the court room was filled with Dresden citizens, supporting a harsh punishment for what these monsters did to Puppy Doe. So we can't believe what the cockroaches are saying, or let them provoke us into believing this is actually the norm in that area. We have to believe they are just making excuses for these repulsive men, either because they are related or looking forward to being future babies mommas to these two monsters.

It is very likely this horrific act the sadists committed is a learned behavior that they have been exposed to as they were growing up. If this is the case, then no wonder the cockroaches would be here posting things that horrify civilized people: they don't a clue why they shouldn't have posted the pathetic things they post, even IF it is what they believe...They just think they are 'normal', LMAO..

Never ceases to boggle the mind that in this day and age, there are some people who are still functioning as if they crawled out from under a rock somewhere.

I didn't know that. I didn't read through all of the posts, but what this boys did was completely inhumane, evil and sick. I would have to believe that anyone taking up for them trying to justify what they did are either related to them or are sick themselves and need help. I would certainly hope that more people cringe to hearing this story then don't. I hope that justice is made for the sweet pup and that they get what they deserve which honestly if it were up to me I don't think they deserve to even breathe. I have a lot of compassion for animals and cannot even begin to understand why anyone would do this or believe that it is ok to be done.

I just can't fathom the beliefs of some of the area people saying"they didn't have anything else to do for entertainment". That is like saying if someone is bored, they should just go out and torture someone or an animal, etc. What kind of idiots are among us who would live and breathe the idea that this is not wrong, or should not be punished in the harshest manner allowed? I want to believe that most people in our world are good and kind individuals who would not harm for the sake of gaining some sick perverted fullfillment. Cases like this one makes me know there are still too many lost in the pits of evil.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Virgo

It's a rather low-key day with a few disappointments to cope with along the way. If you were looking forward to a social event, such as meeting up with friends, it may fail to live up to your expectations. It might even be delayed or postponed through no fault of your own. There could also be problems about how much something is going to cost, forcing you to scale down your plans to make them more affordable.
