I am looking for a loving church in the Gleason area. Not interested in cliques nor congegrations where you go just to see and be seen. I appreciate your input. Thank you.

They are all the same in these areas, you either need lots of money, or you got to sleep with the Preacher.

Other wise they will kick you out.

Looking... I am sorry for Jack's comment, I believe that he is wrong. There are a lot of good churches in this area with good people! Tumbling Creek is a great church, Beech Springs, First Baptist, Methodist Church, New Valley or the Church of Christ just to name a few. I hope and pray that you find a church where you feel the presence of God!

i agree that it is hard to find a church that seems to fit. everyone around has different views on the churches. attend a couple and get a feel for things there. God will help you find a great church

When looking, just remember that church isn't about "fitting" or feeling like home....It's not about how entertained you are or how much you enjoy yourself...It's not about who goes there,or where your parents went....It's about worship to God...Find one that follows God's word, and worships him the way he says he wants us too, and never deviates from it no matter what....

have you tried The Church Of Jesus Christ on the mount Zion road? you can definately feel the spirit of God there. it is a small congregation where no one is just swept under the rug. the music is incredible and the preacher is an old fashioned hell fire and brim stone preacher who is straight forward and tells it like it is. they are building a new church in pillowville at the moment, but are having services in the old church on mount zion until then. they have a facebook page and a website if you want to know more.

Do you think you represented your church in a loving way by calling someone out like that? Who cares who posted it? They did not demean or demoralized another person or church. They were giving information. Do you think you represented Jesus in the way he would want you to? I am not trying to bring you down, but I want you think about the way you are representing your Saviour. We all worship the same Lord, but in different locations. Let us try to bring others to him, not discourage them by hateful remarks. I love you.

I haven't been to any other churches but two: first baptist and beech springs. It's all about personal preference. I LOVE. Beech springs it's an amazing church great preacher and u don't have to sleep with them and they don't try and get your money. It's a really good church. And I've heard first baptist is good. I mean like I said its all about personal preference. Cuz all area churches I've been involved with are good. Especially with youth

to please dont: thank you for taking up for me, but i have a pretty good idea who that was and she was only joking with me. we are good friends and she did wish me well with the pie sell lol.
and as for rabbit, since you commented about my sons, you also must know me, therefore i take no offence by what you commented, because to think i run things in this family is the biggest joke of all!
and to any who did comment in malice, God loves you and so do I!
