how could the cops prevent this incident? They are not superhuman. Maybe we should find batman, superman, wonderwoman and the hulk, put them on glassports payroll. first responders time would be impeccable.

It's not a police problem. It's a boro problem as the result of the type of people now living in this town. By letting this town slide downhill through poor enforcement, the boro has made it easy for the "bad people" to infest this town allowing these type of incidents to happen weekly. Dilapidated and condemned buildings along with the poor roads in this town make it difficult for people to sell decent looking homes. Often, the person selling the home have to sell at a much reduced price to somebody who couldn't afford that home at the price it should have sold at, or they end up renting to druggies and undesirables. And the pattern continues as more and more "good" people move elsewhere or the elderly die off. One bad house in a neighborhood quickly multiplies into 4 and 5 and before you know it, all hell is breaking loose. There used to be a lot of nice areas in this town. Blocks with good solid citizens who took care of their homes. Not any more. Every block in this town is now infected.

Thank you current council people and any past council people from the last 20 years! This mess rests solely on you for letting this town disintegrate!

I agree the town has deteriorated over the years but many if not all of those involved in this incident were from town born breed and raised here

Its an isolated bar fight not the end of glassport. no deterioration in glassport, Im pissed because we lost 10 posters on topix. This is a forewarning to the trouble ahead with this economy, Pay your internet bill or no topix, I'd hate to be left in the dark.

You can't blame a town for a stabbing at a bar. The town didn't do it. A drunken & irresponsible patron did it. It is individuals like this that are ruining the town. They are poorly educated and obviously looking for trouble. No intelligent human being solves a problem by stabbing someone. That happens when the people involved are not able to intellectually discuss a problem and find a solution. Plus, anytime alcohol is involved it magnifies the tiniest issue by 500%. It's all in how you are/were raised.
