People that are in cults dont realize it.The bible says that a man will bring peace and be a great man and that man will be the devil! So you people keep talking about how great he is!
Ill tell you one thing, most of the people that go to that church are not happy people! And i belive that is theyer fighting with theyer soles!
I feel evil just driving past that place!!And the worst part is its making evil people respectable in the community but you never hear this church do anything for the community!
WWJD, you can't even type right, let alone be a judge for Chad Hunt. Chad does not stand in front of the congregation and ask for money, other than when he has preached on tithing, which is scriptural. And evil, there is no evil spirit there, it may be your own you sense as you drive by God's house.
This Chad guy sells CDs,books and no telling what else of his self and he gets in front of his members and asks them where all this money he makes is?Like they would know!!Dont know if you know it or not but there are wealthy people who like like bums!!Just because hes not flashing it dosent mean he dont have it!!
I cant wait for the day god shows his power on him and he will!!!!
This is not a cult, we are members there. I have enough discernment to know whether or not I am in a cult. Yes they sell CD's, of the sermons, so people can listen during the week to be edified. And Chad does not stand before the congregation asking for money, other than preaching on tithing, when prompted by the Lord. And that's scriptural. The only evil you feel is your own spirit.

Afterthougt I should have mentioned. For what it is worth, I neither go to Mr. Hunt's church nor am I Baptist. I don't know Mr. Hunt. I was just addressing the question of qualifications of office holders in the church.

As a Bible scholar and a respected professor, author, and pastor, I can say the work Pastor Chad and the crew is doing is what the Bible calls for... getting your hands dirty to get the job done. I have found most of the issues dealt with here are from people unqualified to make scriptural interpretations, as well as people who would rather sit in churches only to let their ego shine (which, might I say, their ego is all that is covering up their ignorance).
How many other churches out there saw eight... that's right, 8, people saved last Sunday? They also sent money to Haiti to assist with efforts there. The services are overflowing and a new building is in the process of going up. Dr. Henry Blackaby advises to find where the Holy Spirit is working and go with it. Caveland is absolutely in the midst of a true revival... not a set aside time to have some heavy ego evangelist blow hot air, sell his CD's, and collect his paycheck. A real, honest, heartfelt revival.
Before you judge, which scripturally you are unqualified to do, come to the church and ask for the professor. I'll gladly share with you the vision, passion, and love of this church and its pastor has for God.

I can't believe you choose to sell the cd's of the sermons. Most churches worth anything will provide those FREE to people as service and ministry.

I was from nowhere around the area, but, came to help my dying aunt care fore her store at the same time of my own problem's. I asked for a church maybe where I would not be judged for tatto's, or riding a motorcycle. By the time I left your city, cave city, my whole family, and my dying aunt came to hear Pastor Chad. He does have the gift, and that come's with many people to judge him for what he is not anymore. And what small passage's to be taken from the bible to fix in your own mind to make it wrong if that is what you want. At the same time you can take word's out of context to make it right. When, though you feel it you will know for your own self without hearing, but, feeling, it is right. If you can see without eyes and hear without ears you know. Bash him all you want, the spirit will not stop because of your word's.Your scripture as u believe, and you all are loved, we all are, as we were born into sin. Our God is a forgiving God, no matter what.

I attend Caveland and I have never encountered any of these situations that everyone is talking about. This makes me wonder if those who are making these comments have actually attended one of Pastor Chad's sermons or if this is just a branch off a bunch of bogus rumors that have been spread. Furthermore, didn't God say that we are not to judge others? All of those on here that are casting blame and ridiculing Pastor Chad and Caveland Church may need to brush up on their Bible because God is the ultimate Judge, not us. It is not our place to say who is wrong here on earth. Pastor Chad simply preaches in real life terms. He doesn't scream and tell everybody they are going to Hell. He is simply down to earth and makes the parishoners feel like they are normal.

8 souls saved last Sunday. Angels in Heaven were rejoicing and I'm sure the congregation was also. That happens when God is present.
A growing church.
Many of you commenters need to back off and stop judging.

I'll stick to my old time religion and God called preachers. I applaud the college taught "preachers" for furthering their education into God's word and wanting to help his fellow man. But they just don't stir the spirit like a God called man spreading the word. Nothing against Mr. Hunt. Don't know the man so have nothing bad to say about it.

I grew up in a little country church. I am a God called preacher and trust me, I'm prayed up, read up, and ready to roll when I am in the pulpit. I went to school and studied up for this reason... more people will listen.

Think about a tool box. God is going to use you when He calls you and the Spirit will be stirred. The more tools added to that toolbox is more that God has to work with. A man who knows the Bible and doctrine, the theology, can preach so no matter who he comes in contact with, he can witness, preach, teach, and allow the Holy Spirit to work.

Honestly, I've been under the preaching of several little country "God Called" preachers who preached unscriptural and ungodly things. You gotta get THE WORD right. Would you let a surgeon who God has sent into the world to save lives work on you if he knew very little about surgery? I don't think so. A "God Called" preacher will want to know more, grow more, and be so madly in love with the Savior that he can't help but gain in knowledge.

Wish you people would learn a little something about exegetical scripture study, apologetics, and discernment.

Funny a person named after Benny Hin would make a comment about "slick preachers".

So is he practicing polygamy? If he has 2 wives, that's illegal.
